Investigation abstract
An employee worked on Friday, August 13, 2021, her last day. On or about August 8, 2021, the employee started having a headache which continued throughout the week with additional symptoms presenting on or about August 15, 2021. Once additional symptoms began the employee called in sick to work and was subsequently admitted to the hospital at 7:00 a.m. on August 17, 2021, and received a positive COVID-19 test result. The employee was hospitalized.
