Investigation abstract
An employee worked as a medical assistant at the pediatric outpatient clinic. The employee last worked on July 23, 2021. The employee reported COVID-19 symptoms in the early part of the workday on July 23, 2021. The employee tested positive for COVID-19 on July 23, 2021. The employee was admitted to an intensive care unit on July 31, 2021. The employee died at the hospital on August 17, 2021.
