Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee worked as a store consultant at the print and ship center. On August 7, 2021, the employee began quarantine after close contact with a coworker who had tested positive for COVID-19. The employee was never tested for COVID-19 and never reported symptoms during this time. On August 18, 2021, the employee returned to work. The employee worked on August 18 and 19, 2021. On August 20, 2021, the employee reported feeling unwell to the store manager and was placed on leave. At 10:30 a.m. on August 24, 2021, the employee died at home due to COVID-19.
