Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was performing normal duties as a captain at a detention center. The employee began to suffer from COVID-19 symptoms after being at work for a few hours on August 2, 2021. The employee left work and later tested positive for the COVID-19 virus and was hospitalized on August 11, 2021, and died at 10:15 a.m. on August 24, 2021, from COVID-related complications.
