Employee lacerates and fractures two fingers when struck by

Investigation abstract

At 8:00 a.m. on June 18, 2021, an employee was trimming hedges near the parking lot of a school while wearing leather gloves. The trimmer encountered a thick branch, causing the trimmer blade to bounce back towards him. He put his right hand up to block the blade from striking his chest and injured his right fingers on the blade. He sustained lacerations and fractures to his right third and fourth fingers and was hospitalized for treatment.
