Investigation abstract
An employee working as an RN and also designated to care for COVID-19 patients. The floor is designated as a COVID unit/ floor. The employee acquired the coronavirus on or about August 8, 2021, which was also their last day of work. The employee tested positive on or about August 11, 2021. The employee was hospitalized on or about 08/18/2021 and died from complications from the virus at approximately 9:35 p.m. on August 29, 2021.
