Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working in a non-patient care area but was exposed to a co-worker with COVID-19. On July 30, 2021, the employee reported COVID-19 type symptoms and tested positive on August 2, 2021. On August 3, 2021, the employee was hospitalized. The employee died from COVID-19 virus-related pneumonia at approximately 2:30 p.m. on August 26, 2021.
