Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee had been working for a food manufacturer. On August 24, 2021, the employee arrived at work and reported a loss of smell and taste to his employer. On that same date, the employer tested the employee for COVID-19. On August 26, 2021, the employer received a positive test result and at 2:30 p.m. on August 31, 2021, the employee died of a stroke that was believed to have been related to COVID-19.
