Investigation abstract
Employee #1 and employee #2 were working in a state department of transportation facility as a heavy equipment mechanics. The employees were both exposed to COVID-19, most likely from one of their coworkers who contracted the virus. Employee #1 developed complications due to COVID-19, was hospitalization, and died due to respiratory and cardiovascular system failure on August 28, 2021. Employee #2 was hospitalized with COVID-19, but recovered from his infection. Other coworkers who contracted COVID-19 did not require hospitalization.
