Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
An employee had been working as an Operator Technician for a steel supplier. On July 11, 2021, the employee was exposed to a COVID-19 positive coworker and was instructed to quarantine. On July 12, 2021, the employee began to experience COVID-19 related symptoms. On July 26, 2021, employee was hospitalized due to complications from COVID-19. The employer had implemented required precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.
