Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a registered nurse at a general medical or surgical hospital. It was a medical center for veterans. She worked in a medical surgical unit in which patients who were positive for COVID-19 were treated. She began to feel ill on September 2. She tested positive for COVID-19 on the following day. At 9:00 p.m. on September 7, 2021, she died.
