Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a laborer for a firm that engaged in post-harvest crop activities. He was performing farm irrigation work activities. He contracted COVID-19. His last day of work was August 28, 2021. At 4:15 p.m. on September 1, 2021, he notified his employer that he had tested positive for COVID-19 and that he had been admitted to the hospital on that same day. He added that he had gone to be tested because his family was having issues with COVID-19. On September 8, 2021, he died of complications of COVID-19. The employer called the next day, September 9, 2021, to report the employee's death.
