Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
An employee was working in a mental health and substance abuse hospital when she was exposed to patients and coworkers who may have been infected with COVID-19. The employee contracted COVID-19 and subsequently required hospitalization for treatment of her infection on July 31, 2021. It was determined by the employer that the employee was exposed to COVID-19 within the household by a family member.
