Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was performing duties associated with the detention of migrants. The employee worked around detainees showing symptoms of illness and potential COVID-19 infection. The employee tested positive for COVID-19, was hospitalized, and died from complications from COVID-19 at approximately 11:00 a.m. on September 13, 2021.
