Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
An employee only worked a half-day, because his symptoms were worsening, and had a hard time keeping up. The employee told the supervisor he could not continue. However, the employee carpooled to work with another coworker and did not have a ride back home, so he stayed on site in the coworker's car until the coworker completed the work day. The employee was part of crew #9, which was a group of 13 employees including the supervisor. The employee was hospitalized for complications related to the virus at approximately 1:45 p.m. on September 4, 2021.
