Employee suffers amputation of right index finger from metal
Investigation abstract
At 11:45 a.m. on July 8, 2021, Employee #1 was removing metal cut pieces from a Tsune saw. While reaching into the machine, the employee's glove and right index finger were caught and pinched by the internal vice, resulting in an amputation of the right index finger. Emergency services were called, and the employee was transported to the hospital for treatment but was not hospitalized.
