Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a laborer for a poultry processor. Due to household contact with someone who was positive (or thought to be positive) for COVID-19, he had been quarantined from August 25, 2021, until September 3, 2021. He had returned to work for one day. On September 3, 2021, his last day worked, he began exhibiting symptoms for COVID-19 at work. He was sent home to be tested. On September 4, he was confirmed positive for COVID-19. He was admitted to a hospital on September 8, 2021. He died there at 12:05 a.m. on September 23, 2021.
