Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a dietary aide at a nursing care or skilled nursing facility. She was on the kitchen staff. She had no interaction with residents or coworkers who were positive for COVID-19. On September 7, 2021, she tested positive for COVID-19 during a rapid test at her worksite. She was later admitted to the hospital. Her employer was notified of hospitalization on September 13, 2021. She died at approximately 12:30 p.m. on September 16, 2021.
