Investigation abstract
An employee was working at a freestanding ambulatory surgical and emergency center. She worked as a nursing aide, orderly, or attendant. Her last day at work was September 5, 2021. On September 7, 2021, she tested positive for COVID-19. She was hospitalized due to COVID-19 on September 13, 2021. She died in the hospital at 11:00 p.m. on September 24, 2021, due to respiratory issues related to COVID-19.
