Investigation abstract
A part-time employee had been out of work since September 1, 2021. On September 18, 2021, the employee was hospitalized with COVID-19-related symptoms. The employee died at 7:00 a.m. on September 24, 2021, as a result of acute respiratory distress syndrome due to complications associated with COVID-19 pneumonia.
