Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
An employee had been working as a Certified Nursing Assistant at a skilled the narrative. nursing and rehabilitation facility. On July 8, 2021, the employee was tested during a routine COVID-19 testing event that was given to all employees. The employee tested positive and was sent home to quarantine the same day. Approximately one week after being quarantined at home the employee was hospitalized for 3 days requiring a blood transfusion from complications related to COVID-19. The date, time and other details leading up to exposure are not indicated in the narrative.
