Employee scrapes hand on nail which later becomes infected
Investigation abstract
At 12:50 p.m. on August 24, 2021, an employee working as a construction laborer drove himself to the hospital, where he was admitted requiring surgery to clean out the bacteria from his arm. On August 25, 2021, the employee called his employer to report the incident. for an amusement park was building a TV production set. The employee scraped his right hand index finger on a nail and kept working. Before lunch, the employee used compressed air set to over 30-PSI to spray himself down to get the sawdust off his clothing. At this time, he felt pain in his right hand. At 1:00 p.m., the employee went to the medic was was bandaged. At 2:00 p.m., the employee returned to the medic upon the medic's request.
