Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a lead parts representative in the parts department earlier in the month of July 2021. located on the first floor of the administration building of a heavy equipment manufacturer. The employee's last day of work was July 16, 2021. The employee called in sick on July 19, 2021 and was out of work for a few days. On August 2, 2021 the employee's spouse called the human resources department and reported that her husband was hospitalized due to COVID-19 complications as of July 25, 2021. Also, that her husband tested positive for COVID-19 on July 22, 2021. Coworkers in the parts department tested positive for COVID-19 around the same time and two other individuals in the sales department also tested positive
