Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a nurse in a Veteran's Administration hospital when she and a coworker cleaned a breakroom together without their masks on August 14, 2021. The employee began having COVID-19 symptoms started on August 17, 2021 and tested positive for COVID-19 on August 20, 2021. The employee was hospitalized on August 27, 2021 and died on September 23, 2021.
