Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a medicine and health manager at a general medical or surgical hospital. He worked alone in an office setting with no close contacts. He wore a mask at all times. His last day worked was October 1, 2021. On October 2, he was symptomatic for COVID-19. He was tested two days later, on October 4, 2021. He received his positive results on October 5, 2021. That same day, October 5, everyone in his household tested positive for COVID-19. The employee died on October 11, 2021. On the following day, October 12, 2021, his wife was admitted to the hospital for treatment.
