An employee was working as a maintenance technician at a hospital which required him to enter the COVID-19 unit to perform his duties. At 8:00 a.m. on September 21, 2021, the employee was hospitalized due to complications with COVID-19 following a positive test on September 20, 2021. The employee recovered from his infection.
