Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a firefighter for a city fire department. He worked with public. He "presumably" contracted COVID- 19 in the line of duty. On Sunday, October 3, 2021, he died of complications related to COVID-19. He died after what was described as a "lengthy and hard-fought battle." His supervisor believed that the employee might have contacted COVID-19 while working.
