Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a secretary for a government agency that administered employee's supervisor received a call back from the sheriff that same day, reporting that the employee had been found dead at home. public health programs. She performed routine administrative and clerical duties. She worked in different locations greeting the public. Her last days in the office were October 4 and October 5, 2021. She called out sick with a headache on October 6, 2021. On October 7, 2021, she went to an emergency room, where she tested positive for COVID-19. She was told to isolate. A family member called her employer on October 15, 2021, asking if the employer had heard from the employee. The family member was told to contact the local sheriff's department for a wellness check.
