Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a Correctional Officer overseeing the COVID Restrictive Management Unit. The employee's last day at work was October 20, 2021. At 4:20 p.m. on October 23, 2021, the employee was admitted to the hospital with pneumonia. The employee was tested for COVID-19 at that time and the results were positive. On October 25, 2021, the Division was notified that a Correctional Officer was hospitalized with COVID-19.
