Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
At 1:00 a.m. on August 30, 2021, an employee who worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for a municipal public works department died from COVID-19. The employee worked at a transportation yard. The employee tested positive for COVID-19 around August 16, 2021, and was hospitalized with complications from COVID-19 on that date. There was no evidence to indicate that a workplace exposure occurred.
