Employee partially amputates tip of index finger with hedge

Investigation abstract

At 1:45 p.m. on May 27, 2021, Employee #1 was using a STIHL extended hedge trimmer to cut hedge branches at the All Star Sports Resort parking lot area. The employee's left index finger made contact with the blades, resulting in a partial amputation of the fingertip. There were no witnesses to the accident other than the injured employee, who has not made himself available during the inspection. The employee was hospitalized for treatment.
