Employee amputates finger in press

Investigation abstract

At 10:00 a.m. on November 8, 2021, an employee was training with a coworker on a machine that stretches and chops long pieces of metal. While the coworker was operating the press, the employee placed his left hand in the point of operation of the press. The employee's left middle finger was amputated. The employee was hospitalized.
