Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working for a state's department of correctional institutions. He was the tribal liaison with the commissioner's office for the agency. He worked from home, and, since the beginning of the pandemic, he had been attending meetings and events virtually. On October 10, 2021, he called his supervisor to say that he was being hospitalized with an active COVID-19 infection. He remained hospitalized until he died from his infection, on November 10, 2021.
