Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working for a firm that operated a nationwide chain of truck supervisor and the coworker spotted sand trucks while the employee spotted water trucks. On November 1 and 2, all three workers spotted sand and water trucks at the well pad. On November 3, the employee, his original coworker, and a second coworker (who might have been the spotter supervisor) spotted sand and water trucks at the well pad. On the night of November 2, the spotter supervisor experienced a loss of taste and smell. On November 3, the spotter supervisor tested positive for COVID-19. That same day, he notified the employee and the first coworker of his positive test. On November 4, the employee and the first coworker tested positive for COVID-19. On November 9, the employee was hospitalized. On December 1, 2021, the employee died from COVID-19. This was not stops. He was working in a part of the firm that provided fracking services at an OSHA-covered fatality. gas wells.
