Investigation abstract

At 11:00 a.m. on September 9, 2021, an employee who had been working for a physical COVID-19 mitigation procedures. The source of the employee's illness was not indicated in the narrative. County bus transportation system at a training center was hospitalized with COVID-19. The employee was responsible for training employees on public transit bus maintenance and repair. The employer learned of the hospitalization on October 10, 2021, after conducting a welfare check on the employee. The employee's last day at work was September 2, 2021. The employee began to experience symptoms on September 5, 2021, and tested positive for COVID-19 on September 5, 2021.
