Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee worked for a municipal public safety department and had been attending a training course. A COVID-19 outbreak occurred in his coworkers at the course. The employee's last day of attendance was July 30, 2021. On August 2, 2021, the employee tested positive for the COVID-19 and quarantined. On August 11, 2021, the employee was hospitalized and on August 30, 2021, he died from COVID-19. Information regarding any engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls for COVID-19 used at the training course are not included in the narrative.
