Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized

Investigation abstract

An employee worked maintenance for a correctional institution. The employee Information regarding engineering, administrative and personal protective equipment controls for COVID-19 are also not included in the narrative. tested positive for COVID-19 and was put off work (date not indicated). He was due to return to work on November 15, 2021. On November 14, 2021, his spouse called the employer and reported he was hospitalized with pneumonia. The illness was later determined to be COVID-19 related pneumonia on November 16, 2021. The date, time and other details leading up to exposure are not indicated in the narrative but a coworker who also worked maintenance for the same company but at a different facility was hospitalized with COVID-19 around the same timeframe. There is no indication that they came into contact with each other.
