Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee worked as a lead teacher in the pre-K department. The employee had worked at the school for about two-and-a-half months when she came to work on September 20, 2021, with a cough and body aches. The employer sent the employee home that afternoon to get tested for COVID-19. The employee went the next day, September 21, 2021, to get tested which returned positive for COVID-19. The employee had a cough and high fever and on October 6, 2021, the employee was admitted to the hospital with COVID-19 pneumonia. On November 11, 2021, the employee died due to her illness.
