Employee with COVID-19 infection dies

Investigation abstract

An employee was working as a border patrol agent performing apprehensions, the hospital for COVID-19 and pneumonia symptoms. The employee's wife and daughter were at home quarantined as they were COVID-19 positive as well. The employee died due to COVID-19 complications at 1:00 p.m. on December 6, 2021. transportation, interviewing processing, and removals of undocumented non-citizens. The employee had completed all his required yearly trainings and used masks, gloves, and practiced social distancing when possible. On November 2, 2021, while working the employee started feeling ill and was experiencing COVID-19 symptoms and fatigue. The employee was tested and received negative result for COVID-19. The employee was advised by his physician to self-quarantine for 10 days and was instructed to advise management if he experienced any changes. On November 11, 2021, the employee was admitted into
