Employee fractures leg in fall from motorized scooter

Investigation abstract

At 10:30 a.m. on June 17, 2021, an employee was using a motorized scooter to pick up wi-fi devices from the student residences along with two coworkers. As they road along the sidewalk, the employee fell off the scooter when he struck an asphalt bump. He fractured his lower left leg, resulting in surgery and requiring hospitalization.
