Employee amputates finger on table saw blade

Investigation abstract

At 8:00 a.m. on December 8, 2021, an employee was ripping a block of wood using a Grizzly G1023ZX table saw when he moved the block of wood along the blade to make the rip cut, his finger contacted the unguarded blade. The employee was hospitalized to treat an amputation of his right index finger at the second knuckle.
