Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working as an agricultural inspector for a county government conducting inspections of agricultural businesses and fruit packing facilities. The employee went to the hospital emergency room on December 13, 2021, by ambulance seeking medical attention for symptoms that she thought were related to a recent surgery. The employee tested positive for COVID-19 when she was admitted to the hospital. The employee died of acute respiratory failure due to COVID-19 on December 30, 2021.
