Event description
Employee fractures legs when struck by Bobcat
Investigation abstract
At 10:00 a.m. on January 5, 2022, an employee was instructed by his supervisor to move away from the Bobcat conducting push/dragging operations and stand in a safe location until the supervisor could talk to him. The employee had started to move to a designated location as the supervisor continued his work. The employee was struck by the Bobcat as it was backing up conducting dragging operations. The employee was hospitalized to treat fractures to his legs.
