Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized

Investigation abstract

An employee was working for a county parks and recreation department and was performing plumbing repairs outdoors with a coworker when he began having symptoms of COVID-19. The employee told his supervisor that he was not feeling well and was instructed to go home and get tested for COVID-19. The employee was tested on November 4, 2021, and received a positive result the next day. The employee's symptoms worsened, and he was admitted to the hospital on November 12, 2021, for shortness of breath and discharged after three days.
