Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a detective for a city police department and had been working at the police and fire headquarters building and also out in the field performing detective work. The employee last worked on August 18, 2021, and first experienced symptoms on August 20, 2021. The employee tested positive for COVID-19 on August 24, 2021, and was hospitalized for treatment at 8:56 p.m. on August 26, 2021. The employee recovered from his infection.
