Event description

Employee falls from metal beam, receives multiple injuries

Investigation abstract

At 3:00 p.m. on December 22, 2021, an employee worked on an erected metal beam. At some point, another beam was moved towards the employee who grabbed the tag line, but the beam slid out of the rigging. The beam knocked the employee off their beam, who then fell approximately twenty feet. The employee was hospitalized to treat a rib and wrist fracture, and punctured calf.
