Investigation abstract
An employee was working as a psychiatric technician at a state mental health hospital when he was administered a rapid COVID-19 antigen test upon entry to work, as was required by the employer, and received a positive result on December 3, 2021. The employee's last day of work was November 30, 2021. The employee was hospitalized in the intensive care unit due to worsening COVID-19 symptoms including fever and difficulty breathing on December 10, 2021. The employee was released on December 30, 2021.
