Employee with COVID-19 infection is hospitalized
Investigation abstract
An employee was working for a general contractor that was engaged in the construction of a residential home. On July 2, 2021, the employee was digging a trench for drainage when he began to feel ill. That evening the employee went to the hospital and was tested for COVID-19 and released. On July 2, 2021, the employee received his positive test result and was admitted to the hospital and released on July 4, 2021. The employee continued to have symptoms and was readmitted on July 6, 2021, where he stayed until being released on July 19, 2021.
