Employee with COVID-19 infection dies
Investigation abstract
An employee was working for a window and door manufacturer but was on personal medical leave since April 20, 2021. On September 10, 2021, the employee began exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms and he was transported to the hospital but he was not hospitalized because his oxygen levels were adequate. On September 15, the employee tested positive and was hospitalized due to COVID-19 complications. On January 30, 2022, the employee died in the hospital.
