Investigation abstract

At 10:45 a.m. on February 15, 2022, two coworkers pulled two 60 in. by 120 in. window units, each weighing 330 pounds, off the production line. The coworkers stacked the windows in a vertical position on a floor rack cart and secured them with a string. An employee removed the string to prepare to place a window back on the production line and walked in front of the stacked windows. The windows fell off the cart, landing on the employee who sustained a fractured right femur and pelvis, requiring surgery and hospitalization.
